Oklahoma State +8 at OU
Oklahoma State -3 vs. Texas
Oklahoma State -6.5 vs. WVU
Oklahoma State -9 vs. TCU
Oklahoma State -9.5 at Arizona
Oklahoma State +1 at Kansas State
These are probably OSU’s six biggest games. They will be favored in the rest. Repeat: OSU will be favored in 10 of its 12 games WITH A TRUE FRESHMAN STARTING AT QB.
Beyond the Bets had a really good post shortly after these came out about the lines that had moved the most (a line moves when tons of money comes in on one side or the other). Here were the OSU games that had moved.
Texas at Oklahoma State -3.5 (now -2)

As a seasoned State fan, I won’t be putting money on any games. I’m conditioned for crushing “surprise” defeat. Fiesta Bowl was probably rigged. Gundy is probably running an illegal sports gambling circuit. Burns Hargis probably owns and operates a few illegal refugee sweat shops that produce a constant stream of orange sweater vests for his wife to wear. SOMETHING will come out and ruin this.

Ou is overrated like usual. I think we would still have a pretty good chance against them if it was in Stillwater. Our freshmen qb can’t be much worse than jones is.
It’s nice to see that fewer fans than expected have jumped off the bandwagon. I became a believer two years ago that OSU has made the leap from rebuilder to reloader. No, I didn’t have to wait and see to determine whether or not the last couple of teams were any good.
For those who pay attention to these sorts of things, the overall talent-level is deeper than ever. But more importantly, Coach Gundy has changed the culture so player expectations are consistent – no matter whose name is on the back of the jersey. If one player goes down or is suspended, the next guy will pick up the slack. Because the team has that expectation.
I expect another 10+ wins this year.
