Bedlam’s Recent History Says You Have to Win it at the End
How about this for a strange Bedlam stat?
Cool #Bedlam stat: There has been a punt or kick returned for a TD in six of the last seven meetings. (2008-10, 2012-14). #okstate #sooners

OK, and how about this for an even stranger Bedlam stat?
In the last three Bedlams, the eventual losing team has been ahead or tied for 171 of a possible 180 minutes.

It’s true. In 2012, Oklahoma State led or was tied for all 60 minutes and lost in overtime. OU did the same thing in 2014. In 2013, the 10-degree game in Stillwater, OSU led or was tied from the kickoff until Michael Hunnicut kicked a FG with 10:01 left in the 4th quarter. Then OSU re-took the lead with 1:46 left and gave it away with 19 seconds to go.
As Eric pointed out, this might bode well for this year’s Cardiac Cowboys.
@pistolsguy that should fare well for us since we like to comeback every game this season right?

Also of note, the last two winning Bedlam QBs have started the season as QB2 and QB3 respectively. Bodes well for whichever team gets it fragile QB knocked out first on Saturday (probably).
