Brandon Weeden Steps in, Leads Texans to Win
I nearly had to do a triple-take after reading the report from Ian Rapoport on Sunday, which suggests that Brandon Weeden could potentially be the guy in Houston moving forward.
Update on #Texans backup QB TJ Yates. Sources say it's confirmed that he tore his ACL. He's out for the season, Brandon Weeden is the backup

Brandon Weeden stepped into the game late in the first half, after T.J. Yates tore his ACL.
Unlike his time in Dallas, Weeden came in and lead the Texans to score 16 unanswered points, including a fourth quarter go-ahead score.
Go ahead TD pass like its 2011 in College Station https://t.co/WjUtuVtsZ6

Brian Hoyer was the original starter in Houston, however, he has been in the league’s concussion protocol and could return next week. But with Brandon Weeden coming in and throwing for 105 yards and a TD and no picks to lead the Texans to a win in a pinch, Weeden leaves the coaching staff something to ponder.
