Brandon Weeden to Start Sunday for Houston
According to a report from the Houston Chronicle’s Aaron Wilson, Houston Texans starting quarterback Brian Hoyer will again be sidelined Sunday due to concussion protocol, and Brandon Weeden will make his first start for Houston.
Weeden came in to last week as the backup, but due to injuries, was called upon and performed admirably given the position. He lead the Texans to a 16-0 run and the teams first win in Indianapolis in franchise history.
The Texans are currently 7-7 and sit atop the AFC South. They play the Tennessee Titans in Tennessee on Sunday.
