Down the stretch when all our OSU reps at the Masters were virtually eliminated from contention, along with having no chance of winning our fantasy challenge, I was pulling for Bubba. His shot off the pine needles on the second playoff hole was truly masterful (obvious, cheesy pun intended). (Augusta Chronicle)
Our boy Bo Van Pelt shot a record tying final round of 64 to finish -1. I once sat next to Bo at a wedding reception, so he and I are basically BFF, except I had no idea he has a son named Crew. That’s so baller and definitely sets that kid up for future success on the golf course. (Athens Banner-Herald)
Here’s your complete earnings list for the weekend. All our Cowboys made the cut and took homes some cash. Van Pelt was out of contention before play began Sunday but had he come out and shot even par, he would have taken home somewhere around $100k less than he did. (ESPN)

Baseball got a much needed series sweep of Kansas this weekend. Among the whispers of Jim Nantz, you could probably hear Frank Anderson letting out a huge sigh of relief. (NewsOn6)
One thing to watch this fall will be how the loss of Coach DeFo affects the special teams. It sounds like all the coaches are putting in their two cents. Keep bringing in guys like Dan Bailey, Quinn Sharp, Justin Gilbert and Matt Fodge and you’re going to be just fine. (NewsOK)
Clemson football players can thank Gundy for freeing up their Saturday afternoons. (Sporting News)
Reaching out to the east for quality recruits. I truly know nothing about this particular kid, and he probably won’t come to OSU, but just being on the radar of highly touted recruits outside of Big 12 country shows how far our program has come. Oh, and he’s visiting Stillwater on a Sunday? (Rivals)
Because we’re all strong supporters of all OSU athletics, here’s some stuff on OSU Track & Field in Palo Alto. Okay I admit, I only skimmed through it. (okstate.com)
Students, there’s never a bad time to show up for Bedlam and heckle some Sooners. (okstate.com)
Former UMKC coach Candance Whitaker joins the Cowgirl Basketball staff. It might happen more than I realize in women’s sports, but it baffles me when a successful head coach takes an assistant job elsewhere. Money? Personal relationships? Or is OSU just that incredible? Give me all the above. (NewsOn6)
Did you seriously think I wasn’t going to include Van Pelt’s ace? Here you go. Enjoy your Monday!
