Canadian Rocket
Marcus Arroyo’s parting gift will grace the Cowboy backfield this fall, as heralded of a running back since Herschel Sims.
Oklahoma State RB Chuba Hubbard: The Cowboys are looking for a backup for reigning Big 12 Offensive Freshman of the Year Justice Hill. With three senior rushers from the 2017 team gone, the incoming, four-star Canada native will have a shot to become Hill’s wingman. [ESPN]
Listed as one of ten impact Big 12 freshman, Hubbard’s Olympic speed and open field exploits should terrorize defenses for the 30 percent of snaps he’s likely to see. Four-stars that ‘Bama offered don’t grow on trees in Stillwater.
That’s if this guy doesn’t go Chris Carson-in-Fort Worth on the Big 12.

Seattle Slugger
A Seattle Seahawk fan posed an intriguing question that shouldn’t be that shocking: Chris Carson at linebacker.
I have not heard that. If anything, Carroll seemed really excited about Carson’s prospect as a running back, volunteering that the former Oklahoma State Cowboy was one of his favorite players in the draft.
“I really love this guy because he is so physical and tough, the way he ran,’’ Carroll said of the 6-1, 215-pounder taken in the seventh round.
So I think they want to give Carson a shot at running back. I also don’t see evidence that Carson played defense much even in high school — he was strictly a running back at the college level. [Seattle Times]
We know he doesn’t shy away from contact. Not too many coaches get jacked about their seventh round pick but if you had a late round pick, a raffle ticket for replacing Marshawn Lynch, there’s not much better of a fit.
