iPhone/iPad Button

Another one of my favorite features about the new theme I’m using is how easy it is to create a nice looking button on the homepage of your iPhone or iPad.

It’s not functionally helpful as much as it is aesthetically pleasing. Here are three easy steps to sprucing up the first page of your phone/tablet apps:

1. Go to pistolsfiringblog.com on your device and click the arrow button (technical term, I know). There are pictures below.
2. Click “add to home screen.”
3. Voila!

Creator and editor of Pistols Firing. I love jump balls, Dana Holgorsen, and Kevin Durant 30-footers. I started all this.

  1. That IS pretty cool. Liking the new layout man; keep up the good work. Looking forward to football season.

On an unrelated note. Do you ever wonder how many current players read this blog? I do. It’s gotta be pretty high I would think. I mean, I’m pretty sure that by now Justin Gilbert knows you have a man crush on him.

  2. This will come in VERY handy once football picks up and Chris and I start fighting over who gets to read the daily bullets to each other. Having it on my iphone means I will win ever time! :)

  3. FYI, if you had previously added the link to your homepage of your IPhone (as I had), the previously ugly button is automatically changed to the cool Pistols Firing logo! Thanks PFB.

I almost wish that I didn’t subscribe to your feed through Reader so that I had reason to click on the beautiful icon more regularly. The new layout is fantastic. Keep up all the hard/good work!
