Jordan Sterns Jokes That Moonshine Could Be What Makes Morgantown Weird

Can OSU snag its eighth straight victory on Saturday in Morgantown?

Morgantown on a Saturday night with undefeated Oklahoma State in town? Yeah, it’s about to get all kinds of weird this weekend as the Pokes take on the Mountaineers on ESPN2.

It’s been two long years since OSU lost to West Virginia in Morgantown. That game was tough to watch, even tougher for players to swallow.

“The mountains, the moonshine, I don’t know,” Jordan Sterns told the O’Colly. “Something about up there is different.”

OSU is looking to notch its third-longest winning streak in school history at eight games. It is also looking to start 6-0 for just the sixth time ever (although fourth under Mike Gundy).

“You get to go to a place where 70,000 people want you to fail and you get to go prove them wrong,” backup QB J.W. Walsh told the O’Colly. “That’s the beauty of the sport we play. It’s such a good feeling when you accomplish something like that.

“… This year, I think’s going to be different. We’ve got a good football team. We’re playing very well, and we’ve just got to make sure we stay poised and stay composed on the road.”

I hope it is different this year. It would be pretty sweet to go into the bye week unblemished.
