Michael Hunter Re-Signed to 53-Man Roster for Giants
Life in the NFL can be one full of ups and downs, as Michael Hunter has learned this week. After being called up from the practice squad to the active roster last week to fill a spot that opened after an injury, another injury to Darian Thompson at the safety position moved Hunter on out as he was replaced by Andrew Adams.
With more injuries on the Giants to running back Shane Vereen and cornerback Eli Apple and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Hunter has once again been re-signed by the Giants to provide depth at cornerback.
Giants officially placed RB Shane Vereen on IR and re-signed CB Michael Hunter. They also signed DB Doran Grant to the practice squad.
