June 5th 1982 – Texas beats OSU in the College World Series 9-1
June 5th 1987 – Texas beats OSU in the College World Series 6-5
June 5th 1993 – Texas beats OSU in the College World Series 6-51
Note to new OSU head baseball coach: hire a rain dancer if ever in a “we’re playing Texas in the postseason on June 5th” situation.
- Texas also beat OSU in the CWS on June 6th of 1983 6-5 which means we were a day away from having three of the same scores between the same teams on the same dates 10 years apart! ↩
I wish Texas would have throttled OSU in the CWS this year.
Or would throttle them since it hasn’t actually taken place yet.
Like, not the reminder of losing but the concept.
