Recruiting
Recruiting Recap: Jan. 30-31
It’s been a very quiet week on the recruiting trail since OSU hosted their big official visit weekend, but there’s been some chatter over the weekend about some of OSU’s top targets. Here’s a weekend update for the top targets.
- Five-star long snapper prospect, Geron Eatherly (more on him later) — 6-1, 215-lbs from San Antonio, TX.
Extremely blessed to say that I have committed to play football at Oklahoma state! ?? @CoachGundy #gopokes pic.twitter.com/yRDnItaOuy

- 2016 offensive tackle, Tramonda Moore says he will have a confirmation for his commitment time sometime on Monday. Moore is considering OU, OSU, and Alabama, and it appears OSU has taken the lead recently. Could be the Cowboys to lose.
- 2016 offensive tackle Shane Richards, considered almost an OSU lock, made an official visit to Louisville over the weekend. I talked with him and he confirms he is still set to make his commitment public on national signing day. OSU seems to be in good shape to land the JUCO tackle from New Mexico Military Institute.

- 2016 WR Audie Omotosho – considered OSU’s top receiving target – made an official visit to UCLA over the weekend. Many think it could come down to UCLA-OSU for his services, with many thinking he could stay close to home (Plano, TX) and commit to OSU. He will make his decision on National Signing day Wednesday.
- 2016 RB Chance Cook has committed to OSU as a walkon. He had 2,110 rushing yards as a senior along with 32 TD’s. Interesting pickup for the Pokes. 6-0, 183-lb prospect from Canadian, TX.

- 2016 WR Quartney Davis made an official visit to Texas A&M over the weekend, and if his twitter follows are any indication, he seems likely to be making a recommitment to the Aggies.
- 2016 WR Zach Farrar – a former OSU target who committed to Mississippi St. last week, flipped his commitment to Oklahoma this weekend after an official visit to Norman. OSU was essentially out of the race after his commitment to the Bulldogs, but losing him to OU is a tough one to swallow. He’ll play both baseball and football, he says.
