Hey guys,
I realized the blog was running like a Big 10 fullback over the past few days (unbelievably slow). I’ve had to make a few adjustments to it over the past few hours so I apologize for the inconvenience and hope everything is Percy Harvin-style now.
A few things went away, most you will never notice, but I’m okay with sacrificing what we lost for increased speed and user-friendliness. Always feel free to let me know if something’s awry in any of the comments sections.

Just curious why the comments feature/system seems to change on a daily basis? I can’t really say one is better than the other – they’re all pretty simple to use, but it is weird to see a different system constantly in rotation.
Hah, it really has, hasn’t it. I’m pretty obsessed with tinkering to try and get the best possible user experience and I’ve just been messing around with a bunch of different systems. I really like Disqus but I think it slows down the site a lot and the mobile features were terrible.
I think I’ve settled on this one. Sorry about that.
I was about to post the same thing about the comments. I don’t really care, either way, but I’m testing this with my wordpress account.
This is definitely the best the blog has looked and functioned since the overhaul. Disqus was good in concept but I could rarely get it to work and just gave up on trying to comment a few times because it kept kicking back errors.
Keep up the good work.
The changes and updates are welcome. A site’s best attribute is it’s speed.
PS. I posted this from my phone without retyping it 5 times!
Thanks, guys! Was having some IE8 issues earlier but I think we’re all fixed up now. I’ll try to cut the tinkering come football season and just blow up your feeds with content.
Whatever commenting system you end up with, I like having access to the latest comments from the main page, so keep that if you can.
