Chris Carson’s time as a Cowboy has come to an end. He saw some ups and downs over his two years in Stillwater but finished on a definite high note.
After arriving in Stillwater with high expectations, he lived up to those and then some in the stretch of his senior year.
With the emergence of freshman tailback Justice Hill, Carson was the Thunder to Hill’s lightning, and the tandem lit up Big 12 defenses down the stretch run that landed OSU in a Big 12 title game against OU. In his last seven games after returning from injury, Carson averaged 7.3 yards per carry and rushed for eight touchdowns.
