The 10 Best Stats From The OSU-Kansas Game

Published

on

OSU touched off Kansas 44-20 on Saturday and racked up some impressive numbers in the process. Here are the best of those.

26 — That’s how many TDs Mason Rudolph has in the last 13 games (a full season) to just 4 INTs. He is just 8-5 in those games, however.

3 — After racking up 129 receiving yards on Saturday, Jalen McCleskey now has three career 100-yard receiving games (Texas, CMU and Kansas — all this year).

26 — James Washington now has a catch in 26 straight games.

565 — Justice Hill now has 565 rushing yards on the season. That would have given him the 2015 rushing title at Oklahoma State.

99 — Mike Gundy now has 99 wins and 49 losses. The second-most wins in school history belongs to Pat Jones with 62.

8 — This one surprised me. OSU is 8-1 in its last nine true road games going all the way back to Bedlam 2014.

383 — Ben Grogan has 383 points and could put the OSU scoring record out of reach over the course of the rest of the year. He could realistically end up with 420 points which would be 50 more than Dan Bailey had.

1 — OSU is now No. 1 in the Big 12 in turnover margin which portends quite nicely for the rest of the year. Only two teams have led the conference in turnover margin since 2008 and not win the Big 12. They both resided in Stillwater.

8 — Justice Hill is No. 8 on the all-time freshman rushing list. Here’s who he’s chasing.

  1. Mike Hamilton (961 yards)
  2. Jamaal Fobbs (928 yards)
  3. Thurman Thomas (843 yards)
  4. Andre Richardson (774 yards)
  5. Kendall Hunter (696 yards)
  6. Keith Toston (631 yards)
  7. Rafael Denson (569 yards)
  8. Justice Hill (565 yards)

5 — OSU now leads the nation with five blocked kicks.
