All 10 Officials in Central Michigan-Oklahoma State Game Suspended
The apology-fest is in full swing on Sunday afternoon as the Big 12 suspended its two-person replay crew and the MAC suspended its eight-person officiating crew in the wake of whatever that was we watched on Sunday at Boone Pickens Stadium.
Here is the statement from the Big 12.
Big 12 football coordinator of officials Walt Anderson announces a two-game suspension of the two-person instant replay crew that worked Saturday’s Central Michigan at Oklahoma State game.
“The crew missed an opportunity to advise the MAC officiating crew of the misapplication of the penalty giving CMU an untimed down that resulted in its game-winning touchdown,” said Anderson. “NCAA rules permit instant replay to correct egregious errors and it is unacceptable that it did not occur in this situation. Additionally, this replay crew will not be eligible for assignment to an end-of-season bowl game.”
MAC announces it has suspended the officiating crew that worked the CMU game two games, as well.

Awesome. Unfortunately that doesn’t do much for Oklahoma State’s W-L record.
