2016 Center Tyrek Coger Will Visit Oklahoma State
Former Ole Miss signee Tyrek Coger, a standout prospect from Cape Fear Community College, will make a recruiting visit to Stillwater June 26 and 27, he posted to twitter early Thursday morning.
Coger is a 6-9 forward who did not meet SEC transfer requirements, and was forced to reopen his recruitment earlier this week. As we noted earlier this morning in our Reload segment, Coger was likely considering OSU among his top schools. And based off his visits, it appears he is now down to four: OSU, K-State, Rutgers, and Charlotte.
With Coger being a late prospect to become available, his timeline is obviously expedited. He will take all his visits over the next week and a half, and make a decision and report the following Monday. So there’s a good chance that Underwood could add the 6-9 forward late in the process and could be in Stillwater as early as July 4. Coger averaged more than 12 points and 8 rebounds per game his sophomore season for Cape Fear Community College.
I will go 26-27 Oklahoma state, 27-28-29 Kansas state, Rutgers 29-30, Charlotte July 1,2. Make decision and report to school that Monday
