2016 DE Triston Grant Commits to OSU
Oklahoma State added another in-state talent to their recruiting class over the weekend with the addition of defensive end Triston Grant, an Owasso High School product, as a walk-on.

I talked to Grant after his decision and asked why he chose the Pokes.
“My dad played with Gundy in the 80’s. So I’ve always been a cowboy. When they gave me the opportunity to be on the team it was a no brainer. I had 7 other scholarship offers, but the chance to live my dream trumped it all.”
Grant’s father also played defensive end in the 80’s, and he too played defensive end for the Pokes. He also brings a level of versatility to the team, which could certainly be useful saying he can also deep snap if needed.
Whatever position he chooses, the Cowboys are getting a loyal individual with an excellent work ethic and high motor – everything you want from an in-state player with family ties to the school.
