2017 Offensive Lineman Dan Moore Jr. Commits to Oklahoma State
Beaumont, Texas offensive lineman Dan Moore Jr., who we reported would make an unofficial visit over the weekend, shut down his recruitment and called himself a Cowboy on Saturday by verbally committing to Oklahoma State.
“Pistols Firing from Beaumont, Texas! After talking with my family and giving a lot of thought, I have decided to commit to Oklahoma State University!” Moore posted to his twitter account.
“I would like to thank God for giving me this opportunity. I would also like to thank Coach Gundy and Coach Adkins. Go Pokes!”

Moore is a big-time commitment at offensive guard. With a 6-foot-5, 315-pound frame, Moore fills in a huge need at guard, especially after the decommitment of Adrian Wolford recently. Moore is a three-star prospect ranked as the No. 55 guard in the country by 247sports. Additionally, Moore held 14 scholarship offers from the likes of Mississippi State, Colorado State, Mizzou, Louisiana Tech, and a slew of others. With the Beaumont beast now in the fold, the Cowboys now have two O-line commitments in the lat week in offensive tackle Derek Kerstetter and now a versatile offensive guard with high upside in Dan Moore, Jr.
