2018 QB Casey Thompson Visits OSU
Oklahoma State is still recruiting and yet to fill up their spots in the 2017 recruiting class, but the coaching staff is already planning way ahead for the 2018 class. They are heavily pursuing sophomore quarterback Casey Thompson from Southmoore High School, and already extended an offer several months ago.
Thompson is a top-flight talent from the OKC powerhouse with offers from Miami, Oregon State, SMU, and Arkansas State already. The 6-foot-1, 185-lb. quarterback is the younger brother of Kendall Thompson – former OU and Utah quarterback, whose family has a rich history with the Sooners program. He is the son of former OU quarterback Charles Thompson.

As a sophomore last season, Thompson threw for 2,670 yards and rushed for 1,011, to go with 32 passing TD’s and 20 rushing according to maxpreps statistics. His insane 32-4 touchdown to interception ratio proves he already has outstanding decision making, with a very high ceiling to improve over the next couple years, too.
