4-star Florida Point Guard Names OSU in Top 12
One of the top prospects in the 2018 class is giving Oklahoma State a hard look. Four-star point guard Elijah Weaver, who was offered by Mike Boynton earlier this week, named the Cowboys in his list of top schools. Ranked as the No. 31 overall prospect in the country, Weaver is a big-bodied point guard at 6-foot-4, 195-pounds, and has raked in 21 scholarship offers.
Weaver named OSU in his top schools along with the likes of Butler, UCLA, Louisville and Florida.
Weaver is a lefty who attends Oldsmar Christian (Fla.) and plays for Team Breakdown (UAA) on the AAU circuit. He’s big, strong, and is shaping into a Marcus Smart-like point guard prospect with better shooting ability. According to Prep Circuit, he averages 12.9 points per game.
Oklahoma State has yet to land a commitment in the 2018 class.
