Boone Pickens Doesn’t Want to See Jerrod Heard Either

I could be very, very wrong about Jerrod Heard. I’ve accepted that (and you’ve notified me of it, I promise). But at least I’ll be in good company when I am. Boone Pickens went on 1300 The Zone in Austin on Thursday and said he wanted Texas to start Tyrone Swoopes.

I presume this was all tongue in cheek (it’s still funny).

T. Boone Pickens just told us that he wrote a nice note to Texas asking that they play the ‘other QB’ when the Longhorns play Oklahoma St.

My only wish is that he’d called him “number eighteen” like Mike Gundy would have. Also, Pickens commented rather openly it seems about the Joe Wickline case. This is the same Boone, remember, that has donated $100M+ to two UT health care institutions.
