Offensive MVP: Mason Rudolph. Until we can rely on a running game consistently, this offense will only be as good as No. 2 drives it to become. He’ll have a big year behind an improved offensive line and what appears to be a semblance of a running game as the running back by committee approach pays dividends into early November.

Defensive MVP: Jordan Sterns. Returning as the leading tackler from a year ago, Sterns is the hard hitter on the back end who I think will be an All-Big 12 selection before the end of the year. His draft stock should rise accordingly.

Breakout player: Justice Hill. The true frosh from Booker T. drew rave reviews from camp, and he’ll get to show what he can bring to the table early in game 1. Even behind Chris Carson, Rennie Childs, Jeff Carr and Barry J., Hill will get his shot to make his mark. I expect he’ll take full advantage of it and will finish the season with the most rushing yards of the group.

OSU final record (inc. bowl): 11-2

OSU Big 12 finish: 1st

Big 12 winner: Oklahoma State

Bowl for OSU: Fiesta Bowl

CFP Final Four: Oklahoma State, Alabama, Florida State, Michigan
