Brad Underwood Salutes Seniors With Touching Speech
This is awesome. Brad Underwood salutes seniors Phil Forte and Leyton Hammonds as they go out with a loss in their final game as Cowboys.
“You should never ever for one second put your head down about this season,” said Underwood. “These should be your friends for life. This group is as close as any I’ll be a part of. What you guys have been through as a group this year, I’ll never forget.
“I don’t think there’s one coach here who will ever forget anything that’s gone on this year. We had a lot of fun. We had a lot of heartbreak. Young guys, we have a lot of work to do. We’ll be back. For you two seniors, I’m sorry it ended this way, but I’m happy that you were part of a team that I coached. I’m not happy, I’m ecstatic.
“What you’ve done for this program will long, long be more than anything you’ve done in uniform. For that I say thank you.”
All the feels!
