Brandon Weeden Takes Hilarious Shot at Jerry Jones, Likely Gets Benched
Brandon Weeden led the Houston Texans to a big win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. As a reward he is likely getting … benched for the final game of the season. The Texans have all but locked up a playoff spot but it probably won’t be Weeden leading them.
“Brandon’s done a really good job,” head coach Bill O’Brien said. “He did a good job in the Indy game, did a good job (Sunday) but if Brian (Hoyer’s) healthy and clear he’s our starter.”
For his part, Weeden partook in the win on Sunday and enjoyed sticking it to that other Texas NFL team up north.

On Sunday, Weeden talked about settling in with Houston.
“We came out the first possession of the second half and ran the routes with six or seven yards of separation. From there, I think we just got comfortable. I’ve only been here for a month and so – get in a rhythm, get comfortable, start seeing things slowing things down. It starts with getting early and easy completions.”
“We needed this one,” Weeden said. “As a team, we needed this one. It feels good personally, (but) I’m more excited for this team.”
