Oklahoma State is once again focusing on keeping the top talent in Oklahoma in the state for the 2017 recruiting cycle, and last week they made a scholarship offer to Bixby, Oklahoma defensive lineman Brendon Evers:

Evers is a 6-3, 285-lb. defensive tackle with offers from Ark. State, Wyoming, and now Oklahoma State.
“Man.. It’s been truly been a blessing from God. Something that I never thought could become real,” Evers told Pistols Firing Blog following the OSU offer last week.
Evers said the Cowboys like him at defensive tackle as a vertical press guy to run stuff, where he has excelled for the Bixby Spartans.
Being from Oklahoma, Evers said “I actually grew up liking OU” but of his current offers, he favors another Oklahoma team at the moment.
It’s still early in the recruiting process, but he seems to be set on making an early commitment.
“I won’t spend a lot of time making my decision,” Evers said. “OSU is my favorite school out of my top 3.”
