Burns Hargis: ‘OSU is Devastated by This Incredible Tragedy’
“OSU is of course devastated by this incredible tragedy,” said Burns Hargis in a press conference on Saturday after three were killed at the Homecoming parade. “The Oklahoma State Homecoming parade is one of the most wholesome, happy events in the country. To have it fouled like this is a terrible tragedy. We reach out and embrace the victims and their families. We want to give our profound thanks to the first responders.
“The families I know will never be able to understand this, nor will we. But the Cowboy family pulls together. Unfortunately, we’ve had to do it before, and we’ll do it again. God bless, and we pray for everyone.”
Stuff like this is always horrific, but there’s nobody better at the helm.
