Chuba Hubbard Rushes for Season High In Win to Remain Undefeated
Senior tailback pledge Chuba Hubbard of Bev Facey Community High School in Sherwood Park, AB (Canada) has had a monstrous senior season building off an impressive junior campaign that saw him go for 3,213 rushing yards and 40 touchdowns.
On Saturday, he had your typical Chuba Hubbard statline: 23 carries, 249 yards and 1 touchdown. Say what you will about the style of offense they play in Canada or his level of competition being suspect, but there’s no denying Hubbard is a rare breed of running back who is slippery in space and has the jets to burn you out as the game wears on.
On the season, Hubbard has tallied 773 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns. More importantly, his squad is still undefeated as they prepare for their matchup this weekend against Jasper Place.
