Clemson Graduate Transfer Cornerback Lists OSU in Final 3 Schools
Oklahoma State is one of three teams in position to land Clemson graduate transfer cornerback Adrian Baker, according to a report from ESPN’s Jake Trotter.
Before Baker missed all of the 2016-17 football season with an ACL tear, he was set to take on a larger role in the Clemson defense after a breakout of sorts as a redshirt sophomore. In 2015, he appeared in 13 games and made three starts for the Tigers, including two interceptions and 15 tackles in a reserve role.
The 5-foot-11 cornerback will graduate this spring and be eligible for one final season. Baker has a chance to be the next big impact grad transfer for OSU, joining Lenzy Pipkins and Tyler Patmon among cornerbacks who have blazed a similar path. Baker made a visit to Stillwater on March 4 and has already made visits to his two other finalists — Houston and UCF. The Hollywood, Fla. native intends to make a final decision in May.
