Cowboy Hoops Officially Welcomes Four Signees
Oklahoma State officially completed the recruiting class of 2016 with each individual’s submission of their national letter of intent this weekend. Here’s a look at the four prospects who signed with the Cowboys.
Cameron McGriff – Power Forward
McGriff is a 6-foot-7 power forward who picked the Cowboys over offers from OU, Arkansas, SMU, and others. He’s a four-star prospect who averaged 11.8 points and 7.7 rebounds per game last season.
Gorjok Gak – Center
Gak is a late minute addition who could be one of the biggest impact players right away in Stillwater. At 6-foot-11, he brings a threat down low as a rim protector and a solid scoring option who will have to develop down low. He is another four-star prospect, who chose the Cowboys over UConn, Florida, Mizzou, and others. With OSU losing two big men at the end of this season, I think he’ll be forced to step in and play right away.
Thomas Dziagwa – Guard
Dziagwa is more of an under-the-radar prospect who didn’t get the same attention in the recruiting world, but has plenty to offer at the next level. He can fill up the stat sheet in a hurry, and as a junior he averaged 26.8 points and 4.5 assists per game. He’s a coaches son and, at 6-foot-5, bring a versatility to the guard position that should play to his advantage.
Lindy Waters III – Guard
Waters was another late-minute addition to the recruiting class, and one of the biggest adds to the class. Waters is a big scoring threat and, just like Dziagwa, his 6-foot-5 frame will allow him to play multiple positions for the Cowboys.
