The Cowboys made an official scholarship offer to 2017 quarterback and athlete Roshauud Paul, a 6-foot, 170-lb. prospect from Bremond, Texas.

Paul has also picked up recent offers from OU, Arizona State, and Houston. The standout athlete from Bremond is an impressive high school quarterback, but could be recruited to OSU as an athlete likely as a receiver or cornerback. The Yurcich area has generally recruited very tall quarterbacks, with all three recent signees checking in at 6-foot-4 first with Mason Rudolph, then John Kolar, and most recently Keondre Wudtee.
As a junior last season, Paul recorded 28 touchdowns through the air and 36 on the ground, totaling 4,256 yards altogether during his breakout junior season. ESPN lists his 40-yard dash time at 4.99. You can watch his film below and tell me if you would agree with that time…The kid has the agility to make guys miss in space and the burners to turn on that make him a very fascinating prospect, regardless of 40-time.
I wouldn’t at all be surprised to see this kid blow up past his current offers. He’s receiving offers locally so he has so far been a well kept secret, but OSU is throwing their name in the hat early for a chance to get his attention before what’s likely major national attention to come.
