Happy National Pi day.

Hoops

This is great: a list of replacements for 10 Wooden Award finalists. Everybody has a replacement their team is recruiting that can fill their spot next year. Under Marcus Smart it says not possible. (ESPN)

Awesome story on why Marcus Smart wears No. 33. (NewsOK)

Marcus Smart sixth in ESPN’s final straw poll POY voting. How awesome would a matchup with Trey Burke be in the Dance? (ESPN)

Chad Ford: Although Smart is far from a finished product, if a team such as the Orlando Magic or New Orleans Hornets gets the pick, he has a great shot at going No. 1. (ESPN)

Kelly Hines on how OSU went from losing season to top 20 ranking. Love the Hunger Games reference. (Tulsa World)

Good point here by Helsley — OSU continues to improve while other teams have already peaked. (NewsOK)

Kansas loves being the bad guy. Pistol Pete reference in here that will make you mad. (Kansas City Star)

Fran Fraschilla has Smart as his fourth biggest impact player in the country. (ESPN)

Markel Brown: It’s going to be an NCAA atmosphere out there. Obviously, we don’t want to go out there and lose in the first round. They feel the same way so it’s gonna be a real tough game. (O’Colly)

Marcus Smart still not on Jason King’s POY ballot. (ESPN)

I honestly can’t keep up with all the awards. Why are there so many different POY and FOY and All-America teams? Wouldn’t it be simpler (not to mention more special) just to have one? (okstate)

Wes Lunt speaks! (Rivals)

Wes Lunt speaks again! (NewsOK)

Wes Lunt can’t stop talking! Interesting what he had to say here about Chelf deserving first team reps. (okstate)

I’m sure you guys have many jokes about OSU having a new DBs coach. (NewsOK)

Ubben on Jeremy Smith making “the leap.” (ESPN)

Glenn Spencer: We’re looking for a little something different intensity-wise. We still don’t think we’re there yet. (okstate)

Bob Simmons becomes the first OSU football coach to go back to coaching high school. (NewsOK)

Oklahoma State’s net big play ability last year was pretty incredible. Fire Bill Young1! (ESPN)

Ubben on what Arthur Brown and Joe Randle did to improve their draft stock. (ESPN)

NCAA wrestling brackets announced. OSU gets a wrestler in each weight class. (okstate)

WHOA, current OSU baseball player gets compared to “a combination of Robin Ventura and Pete Incaviglia.” He’s played 15 games! (O’Colly)

Good Rickie Fowler interview here. (ESPN)

Bucknell could be an issue for tourney teams. Not OSU though. (Yahoo)

Can I interest you in a Todd Monken interview? (Football Scoop)

On what NPR is doing to reach the younger generation. (New York Times)

This tweet really didn’t get enough love.

Josh Fields opened a new Firehouse Subs in Stillwater. Here’s a cool mural in his store.

You guys see the Boone Pickens tweet rolling on Rand Paul yesterday for not knowing anything? He apologized shortly thereafter claiming he was hacked. Here’s one guy’s hilarious theory.

Nice.

Awesome video on how we watch everything on two screens. via @kevindeshazo

Tossing paper in the air!

It’s real!

  1. Oh, we already did?
  • OSU-Bill

What was the explosive play differential for last year’s OU game? Oh, yeah, fire Bill Young.

  • Seth

Good to near Lunt say himself that he is ok with red shirting. Now if Chelf really is the best of bunch this spring, Lunt can prepare himself for three more seasons as starter, starting with, what would be, his junior season.

    • KC

What you said. I like what we bring next year but if Lunt redshirts and then steps in after Clint leaves……this could be really good.
