Daily Recruiting Recap: Jan. 28

With less than a week to go until national signing day, and multiple positions still waiting to be filled, Kyle thought it would be a good idea to do a daily recap and update everyone on the status of some of OSU’s targets in a quick post. I’ll give you everything you need to know for the day and what to keep an eye on as we close in on signing day. Here we go…

  • Head coach Mike Gundy made a visit to see 2016 offensive tackle Tramonda Moore

  • OU offered 2018 WR Terrace Marshall Jr., an elite Louisiana athlete and teammate of QB target Keondre Wudtee – OSU’s top target. The Cowboys offered this past week as well.
  • OSU picked up commitment from Tulsa (Memorial) linebacker James Lewis early this morning – assumedly as a walk on/preferred walk-on

  • Oklahoma State commit Tyrell Alexander reports a new offer from Oregon University. He made a visit to Arkansas last weekend, and could be wavering, once again, on his commitment to OSU. He says he’ll make his decision soon, which doesn’t sound good for the Pokes.
  • Gundy made visit to see 2016 OL commit Matt Kegel on Wednesday

What to watch for:

  • Audie Omotosho should be heading out to UCLA for his official visit this weekend. He’s a top receiver target, sounds like it could come down to OSU and UCLA.
  • Linebacker target Calvin Bundage reportedly has a top five that includes OSU, Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon, and Michigan.
