The Reload: Brian Bowen Picks up OSU Offer, 2018 Recruiting in Full Swing
We’re starting a new spot here on Pistols Firing called The Daily Reload, where we will give you the most up-to-date information on the recruiting trail with tidbits regarding new offers, visits, commitments, and more.
It’s going to be *literally* amazing.
Enough chat. Let’s do it. Our first edition of the Daily Reload is upon us.
Cowboys offer 2017 safety Dovodrick Johnson
Fast-rising Dallas prospect Dovodrick Johnson picked up offers from Purdue, OSU, Mississippi State, and North Texas this week alone. The 6-2, 210-pound hard hitter is blowing up on the recruiting trail. He says he likes Oklahoma State’s uniforms and the vibes he gets from the coaches.

Brad Underwood Swinging Big Again
Brad Underwood is not shying away from the top-flight prospects. He made a big offer on Thursday evening to 6-7 five-star small forward Brian Bowen from Saginaw, MI. He’s rated as a consensus top 30 national player in the 2017 class. You can read more on him from a post earlier in the day here.
2018 Recruiting in Full Swing
Oklahoma State extended an offer to 2018 quarterback Tanner Mordecai earlier this week. And on Wednesday, they made another offer to 2018 quarterback Cade Fortin from Suwanee, GA, not far from ATL. Fortin is coming off a big sophomore campaign, but there’s no doubt this is more of a projection. He has the frame and touch to become a big time quarterback. Cal, Iowa, OSU, Kentucky, Louisville, and Rutgers have all offered too.
Blessed to have received an offer from Oklahoma State!??? #okstate pic.twitter.com/t5vk0dAJtc

Oklahoma State also extended an offer to 2018 standout receiver Joshua Moore from Yoakum, TX. Moore is already a national recruit, with offers from OU, Arizona State, BYU, Mizzou, Texas Tech, Houston, and others.

Another 2018 offer out the door today went to Rockwall, Texas linebacker Alston Orji. At 6-2, 214-pounds, Orji could already be a good frame for a 2017 prospect. He’s getting attention from Arkansas, Baylor, OU, Utah, SMU, and Texas A&M, who have all extended offers.
??Great scrimmage today!?Me & my boys are ready?Even better got an offer from Oklahoma State University#GoPokes#OSU pic.twitter.com/oHb7ZjswIy
