Dan Bailey: ‘Stillwater Is Just One of Those Places That Feels Like Home’
Dan Bailey joined Brandon Weeden and Dez Bryant on stage earlier this week to reveal OSU’s new football uniforms. His performance was truly incredible. After the big reveal, the NFL’s all-time most accurate kicker talked about what that experience was like.
“It’s exciting to be back here in Stillwater,” said Bailey. “I don’t get back here enough … I was happy to be a part of it. Hopefully they enjoyed it … I’ll always maintain that Stillwater is just one of those places that feels like home. The people here become family.”
Bailey also talked about why he’s where he is in his career.
“I can’t say enough about coach Gundy and coach Glass. They took me under their wing when I walked on here and pushed me. They made a better person and player. There’s no doubt in my mind that where I am in my career today is all credit to them … I owe it to them.”
Pretty cool stuff from Bailey and something Dez Bryant echoed.
