I caught up with the 6-foot-3, 250-lb. standout this morning, who said the Cowboys have been recruiting him since his sophomore year.
“I was excited [about the OSU offer]. I was jumping up and down. I’ve been waiting for this offer since my sophomore year when they started recruiting me,” Dominguez said.
Dominguez added that defensive line coach Joe Bob Clements has been his main recruiter. As it stands now, he has offers from Northern Illinois, Kansas, Iowa State, and now OSU.
He says at the moment he doesn’t have a list of top schools, since it is still early in the recruiting process. The Cowboys may have once again uncovered a hidden gem from Kansas, where they have had success in recent years. In the 2016 recruiting cycle, they signed all-state offensive lineman Teven Jenkins from Topeka, Kansas.
