Dez Bryant Wishes Boone Pickens Happy Birthday
Boone Pickens got a lot of birthday wishes on Sunday for his 88th trip around the sun (seriously, scroll through his Twitter feed here). But none of them were as awesome and hilarious as this one from Dez Bryant. No. 88 wished Pickens a happy 88th. Things I loved about this video in order:
1. Dez calls Boone Pickens “Boone.” They’re both adults so I’m not sure why this is funny. But it is.
2. He dropped the “go” from “Go Pokes.” Just … “Pokes.”
3. Simply that Dez would even think to take a selfie video of him wishing an 88-year-old oilman benefactor from his alma mater happy birthday. What a world we live in where we can be privy to such a thing (and I don’t mean this tongue in cheek).
