Emmanuel Ogbah Reminds NFL Coach of Young Michael Strahan
There are not many better comps than a young Michael Strahan. So who said Emmanuel Ogbah reminded him of the Hall of Famer? Ogbah was asked recently about the best part of the NFL Draft process.
“Meeting famous people,” he told Stillwater Newspress. “Meeting a lot of people I otherwise wouldn’t get to meet. I’m getting a lot of connections from it.
“The head coach Marvin Lewis from the Cincinnati Bengals is a legend. It was an honor meeting him. He said I remind him of a young Michael Strahan. That was a pretty good reaction from him. It means a lot because I model my game after Strahan.”
There have been a lot of random, strange reasons why Ogbah’s stock has dropped in the last few weeks. Most of them remind you that maybe it’s not the greatest idea ever to cover sports 24 hours a day, seven days a week (although this lengthy breakdown is pretty good).

But it’s also pretty cool to see a head coach think so highly of Ogbah. I don’t have Cincinnati as one of my five most-wanted destinations for No. 38, but there are certainly worse places he could go.
