The Emoji Guide for Social Media and Football Recruiting

Published

on

With recruiting and the power social media has in this day and age, prospects will often send subliminal message by sending emoji’s rather than tweets. Here’s what Sean, a PFB reader, said earlier this week about confusion with specific emoji’s meaning:

Capture

Not to fear, Sean. You’re not alone. And PFB is here to guide you through the WWE (wide world of emoji’s) so you can catch up with the latest social media slang using this emoji guide.

Here’s all the emoji’s you need to keep in your backpocket as a guide:

  • Baylor: ??
  • Iowa State: ???
  • Kansas State: ???
  • Kansas: ???

And here’s what the final standings of last season’s top 25 look like in Emoji form.

I feel like some are pretty obvious in the emoji game including the gator for Florida and the tiger for LSU. But some of my personal favorites are probably the Michigan State sword emoji because of the intimidation factor, and the incredibly old bald man emoji representing Kansas State and the fighting Snydercats.

What are your favorites? If you think I missed one, feel free to drop suggestions in the comments!
