Five-star Guard Trae Young Sets Official Visit for Homecoming
Oklahoma State will host two of their top hoops targets this weekend on official visits for homecoming, with 6-foot-10 center Bourama Sidibe now expected to be joined by five-star point guard Trae Young.
Excited to announce my Final Official Visit will be to Oklahoma State this weekend the 28th-30th‼️ #GoPokes

Young, the top prospect in Oklahoma from Norman North, and a top 15 player nationally, has already made official visits to OU, Kansas, Kentucky and Texas Tech; Oklahoma State will be his fifth and final official visit.
The 6-foot-2 sharpshooter is wrapping up his final visit this weekend, but has said that he will not sign in the fall. Being a 2017 prospect, he has the option to sign early, but tells Scout’s Evan Daniels that he wants to watch the schools recruiting him during the upcoming season.
Ultimately, hosting Young for an official visit is big – but may not be the difference maker in his recruitment. With Brad Underwood and Co. heading into their first year, the best recruiting pitch to him may not be made this weekend, but rather on the court this fall.
