State’s Top Ranked Lineman Names Leader in Recruitment

Oklahoma State’s long-time target at offensive line and top priority for the 2016 class, Tramonda Moore, is at the Army All-American game this week practicing and agreed to an interview with the Rivals network to talk recruitment and his top 3: OSU, OU, and Alabama.

I’ve long held that OU and OSU are the top two schools competing for the John Marshall (OKC) product, and unfortunately the leader may not be who Cowboy fans would hope.

On OU: “I’d probably say Oklahoma is the leader – the visit was just outstanding. You know, that’s my in-state school, with them making the playoff and winning the Big 12 was good.”

On OSU: “I have a lot of love for the coaching staff and for the University.”

On Alabama: “It’s a powerhouse school. You can’t go wrong with them…”

When asked if he could confirm the leader in his recruitment, his response was: “Oh yeah I would probably say OU. OU is the prime leader, I’d say cause the official [visit] really jumped at me. Them winning the Big 12 championship jumped at me. And them making it into the playoff really jumped at me,” he told Rivals.

“Right now OU has a firm grip on it [his recruitment]; honestly I’d say its pretty hard to jump them just because its my in-state school and the way they develop o-lineman. But, I still have a lot of love for Oklahoma State, so I’m not counting them out. I’m just ready to get to my official visit.”

Moore was debating on Monday whether he would decide to announce his commitment at the all-american game Saturday, but tweeted late Monday night that he believes he will take his recruitment all the way to signing day.

Added Moore: “I’ve kind of got my mind made up, but I really don’t wanna jump at it.”
