Houston Texans Re-Sign Brandon Weeden
Former Oklahoma State quarterback Brandon Weeden has re-signed with the Houston Texans, where he finished the season last year after being released by the Dallas Cowboys.
Weeden made one start and appeared in two games for the Texans last season, leading a comeback win over Indianapolis and a week later leading the team to a dominating 34-6 win over the Titans.
In 34 career games as a professional, Weeden has completed 559 of 965 of his passes for 6,462 yards, 31 touchdowns, and 30 interceptions.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, however NFL insider Rand Getlin reports he’s getting a two-year deal worth $4 million.
Congrats @bweeden3 on the new contract. We are happy for you and your family. #okstate https://t.co/RbCWxW54Rv
