J.W. Walsh Efficiency on Saturday was Incredible
J.W. Walsh’s performance on Saturday was absolutely phenomenal, given the short amount of time he was allotted due to the blowout.
Walsh rushed six times for just 24 yards, but 50% of his rushing attempts went for touchdowns.
Not only did he get it done on the ground, but also in the passing game. He finished the game 100% (5-for-5) passing, with 40% of his passes going for touchdowns – both to sophomore wideout Chris Lacy.
“The coaches have just drawn up great packages,” Walsh told The Oklahoman. “Great play calls. Great execution. I’m just fortunate to be in there in those situations.”
Walsh’s finished the day with 68 total passing yards and 2 touchdowns through the air, 24 rushing yards and three scores on the ground, including this beautiful stretch across the pylon for 6.
