J.W. Walsh Finishes Career with 2 TD Performance
The General was up to his same superhero antics in the Sugar Bowl on Friday night, showing off his quickness and speed that helped him quarterback the Pokes to a 10 win season behind the arm of Mason Rudolph and Co.
Walsh saw limited action until the end of the game, but when he came in, he took advantage of it. Here was the first touchdown score of the night:

He went on to add the second touchdown of the night as well, which turned out to be the only two touchdowns of the night.

He even finished off his final score with his classic J.W. point to the crowd, and blows a kiss for the memories. Walsh finished the night as the leading rusher with 74 yards on just 10 carries.
He caps a great career for OSU, and as Mike Gundy pointed out, has put himself in good position to potentially become another beloved quarterback-turned-coach in the future.
“He’s going to coach at this level,” Mike Gundy told the Oklahoman. “He very well could be the coach here one day.”
