J.W. Walsh Issues “Thank you” to Stillwater
The General took to Instagram to issue a “thank you” to Stillwater for the memories during his time at Oklahoma State on Sunday. Walsh reportedly will petition for a sixth year of eligiblity, of which he may actually be qualified for. But if the NCAA finds he is not eligible, this upcoming bowl game will indeed be his last as an Oklahoma State player.
After losing his starting job to Mason Rudolph, Walsh bucked the graduate transfer trend and elected to stay at Oklahoma State for his final year and has been a vital key to Oklahoma State’s season. Whether or not he comes back to play is yet to be seen, but it’s safe to say he has won over Cowboy nation with his loyalty. Maybe that loyalty will be rewarded with his first coaching gig sometime in the future.
