Jawun Evans Ruled out Saturday, Status is Questionable Moving Forward
Oklahoma State hosts No. 13 Iowa State on Saturday afternoon in Gallagher-Iba, and unfortunately they will be without their best player in freshman point guard Jawun Evans.

Evans suffered an undisclosed shoulder injury in the home contest last week against Texas Tech, and was forced to miss the second half and overtime periods to sit on the bench and watch his team lose in a heartbreaking manner.
The Cowboys are 2-7 in Big 12 play and currently sit at .500 (11-11) with a tough stretch coming up to begin the second half of conference play. After Saturday’s home contest, they play at TCU, home against K-State, then also have road contests at Norman, Ames, and the dreaded Allen Fieldhouse all before the end of February.
With Evans’ status officially questionable going forward, the Cowboys chances to finish conference play on a high note don’t look promising, to say the least.
