Jawun Evans Ruled Out Against Tulsa With Shoulder Injury
Starting point guard Jawun Evans has been ruled out for Saturday’s game with a sprained AC joint in his shoulder, according to a report from The Oklahoman’s John Helsley.
Jawun Evans not available for #okstate today. Sprained shoulder (the other one) in practice Thursday. Considered day to day.

Evans, the Big 12 Player of the Week, is averaging 23.6 points, 5.1 assists and 3.0 steals per game this season. Brandon Averette figures to start in place of the injured sophomore.
Evans missed almost the entire second half of the schedule last season after suffering an injury to his other shoulder. This injury, hopefully, will be less serious for the sophomore guard.
