Jordan Sterns: ‘I Think We Can Make It to the National Championship’
First of all, an apology. I somehow missed seeing this over the last few weeks. Only when I was tooling around in writing my spot on how important Jordan Sterns is to this team did I unearth this quote from No. 13 on the 2015 season.
“I think we can be the best in the country,” said Sterns on media day.
Whoa.
“That’s just how much I believe in this team. I’m going to aim high. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that and I believe that. I think we can really go to the College Football Playoff and make it to the national championship.”
I love this. No hedging, no antics. No games. Just “I have confidence in my fellas, we have a good QB, we’re older and this is how good we can be.”
Plus, how could you not be that confident with this dude at the helm?
