Joseph Randle Released by Dallas Cowboys
Not a great month for former Oklahoma State Cowboys turned Dallas Cowboys. First, Brandon Weeden was benched in favor of Matt “but I can throw for 97 yards with Dez” Cassel. Now, Joe Randle has been released by the Boys.

I guess that’s not stunning given Randle’s recent demotion and consistency of off the field issues. It’s still jarring, though. Dallas is now going to try to ride Darren McFadden to the NFC East title.
It will be interesting to see if No. 21 gets picked up elsewhere. He’s clearly talented, but if you can’t make it in Dallas (where it’s pretty clear anything goes), you’re certainly not going to roll somewhere like New England or Pittsburgh.
