Justice Hill Named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week
Following a breakout performance this weekend in Waco, true freshman tailback Justice Hill has been named the Big 12 newcomer of the week. Hill finished with over 6 yards per carry and 122 rushing yards in a losing effort Saturday — the most for a true frosh since the league was formed:

Even with the two fumbles on Saturday, Hill was by far the most effective runner for the Pokes, finding holes and exploding through them in Joe Randle-type form.
With Chris Carson likely to be out again this weekend, he will likely continue to see quality reps and split time with senior Rennie Childs.
