Kevin Peterson: ‘The Whole Team Growing Up, Ballin’ Out Together’

Kevin Peterson had a monstrous tackle late on Trevone Boykin in Oklahoma State’s goal line stand on Saturday that really epitomized how OSU showed up against the No. 5-ranked Horned Frogs.

“It’s the morale,” Peterson told the O’Colly after the game. This next part I loved for some reason.

“The whole team growing up together, ballin’ out together. We do that; we preach that in the weights, we preach that when we’re running 100s on Sunday after a win. We try to do the best we can at all times.”

Growing up together. Ballin out together.

No matter what happens the rest of the season, these dudes will remember this year as one of the best of their entire lives. We get to live it vicariously. They get to live it. That’s a cool thing.
